Orchard Lake Campground

Over Memorial Day weekend, we went camping with two other families in Saluda, N.C.

Right after our tent was set up, the rain came.

We like to eat on our camping trips. Frogmore (aka low country boil) is one of our favorite meals.

There were other things to do at Orchard Lake that I don't have pictures of, including basketball, softball, soccer, a climbing wall and a playground. I found the campground online.

The rain came down very hard Monday morning. The rain seeped through the opening of our tent, soaking the childrens' sleeping bags. J.J. and I were on an air mattress, but his clothes got wet. He made a mini toga with our sheet.

We had to pack everything up in the pouring rain.

We all looked like this. But the rain didn't ruin our camping adventure.
