Flashback Friday: Giggles, Grunts, and Gutterballs

 

My friend Beth and I took our children plus 4 more bowling one hot summer day.

 

  The bowling alley was doing a promotion where kids could bowl for free.  You just had to rent the shoes.

Everyone seemed to have a good time.

 

The guys demonstrate their strength.

 



The gals struggle to hold there bowling balls long enough for me to snap the picture.

 

 

 

 

I'm ashamed to say that this was the first time my kids had gone bowling.

 

Here's proof that Hayden won the boys round!

 

 

Yep, a few gutterballs were thrown.  But there was a spare or two and even a strike!

 

 

We smuggled in our own lunches.

 

 

Looking forward to putting on the bowling shoes again. Corinna has pointed out that there is a deal on the discount cards her school sold.  We can get 2 games and the shoe rental for $7 apiece. We're busy right now, but after soccer season, we'll need a family outing for the late fall or early winter.
