"There's No Business Like Show Business"

Hayden has continued to show an interest in theater and was part of the cast of "Annie Get Your Gun." The show was last weekend and LYT put on another fantastic show! Here are a few pics from the performance:

Hayden plans to continue doing plays and is hoping for a more prominent role in the future. I really like the expressions on his face. He truly shines on stage!

Next up.....our first camping trip of the season. I better go pack my bags. I am in desperate need of some R-n-R!!!!

Celebrating Dr. Seuss

This week at "my" school we celebrated the literature of Dr. Seuss with a week of reading his books and incorporating other activities. Plus, the teacher I am filling in for was feeling well and came for a visit. The children were delighted to see Ms. McBride.

This one is ours...we got third. We enjoyed our Seuss study and students get the day off tomorrow. I will be conducting parent-teacher conferences tomorrow and throughout the rest of the week. I am thankful for the opportunity to be teaching, but I admit that the countdown to summer has begun. But we'll have to make it to spring break first. I'm looking forward to that too!
