Flashback Friday: Meadowview's 2012 Fall Festival

Every year, our church has a fall festival.  Usually it is toward the end of October.  This past year, it was on October 20th since Lexington's BBQ Festival was scheduled for the 27th.  The primary purpose of the fall festival was the reach out to the community and serve God's grace.  Everything was free and we had a great time.  Several of the families from Corinna's soccer team joined us.

The evening ended with the duo Peculiar People...a drama team. It turned out to be a beautiful autumn day. Hundreds of people, many that do not attend our church,  came out to enjoy food, fun, and fellowship!  I think everyone who came had a teriffic time!

Pre-Season Soccer Tournament

We spent the weekend at soccer games.  The second half of the season starts this coming weekend so both Corinna and Drake's teams played in a warm-up tournament.  However, it wasn't so warm.

Drake and Corinna played with hustle and their teams fared well.  Out of six games we had one loss, one tie, and four victories.

The next few months will include many more soccer practices and games. And of course more weekend tournaments.

Let's go NCUSA!!!!

Over Half-way There!

The school year is just past the half-way mark as report cards were issued recently since the second quarter's end in late January. So we are over half-way to summer break. I am pleased that each of our children made the honor roll. Hayden earned all A's and B's while Drake and Corinna made straight A's. They each also were recognized for good attendance. We are thankful for the blessing of good health. Keep up the great work during the 3rd and 4th quarters.
