Loved The Lodge

One of our family's Christmas presents was a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord. You've likely seen the commercials on t.v. advertising the thrilling adventures of the indoor water park. Well, I must say that we did have an incredible time. We spent Sunday afternoon and most of the day Monday getting wet. The resort also offers other activities such as an arcade, miniature golf, spa treatments and a laser treasure hunt.

We chose not to do any of the "extras" because of the additional cost, but the children didn't seem to mind. The water park itself provided us with hours of family fun.

The Howlin' Tornado was an awesome ride. Here we are at the end. Corinna was 1 inch too short to ride and was very disappointed. I wasn't able to take pictures of the big rides but check them out on greatwolf.com.

We stayed in a Kid Cabin Suite.

This must've been where Santa sat when he visited the lodge.

Lots of families gathered for the bedtime story.

Drake and Corinna pose with Wolfgang. That's not really his name I don't think, but it will do.

The bedtime story worked.....they went to sleep fast. Perhaps they snored just to go along with Great Wolf's mandated hibernation hours. To follow are some pictures from Monday. Check out was at 11:00am., but we were free to stay and play until the park closed at 9:00pm. We left around 5:00.

Looks like Hayden and Drake won the race.

We had a blast at the Great Wolf Lodge. There's much to do for kids of all ages. So long until we return again.

"Wii" Had A Very Merry Christmas!

"Wii" got a Wii for Christmas this year. Already it's provided hours of entertainment and exercise along with the Wii Fit Plus. Let's just say that I have my work cut out for me if I want my Wii Fit age to align with my real age!

This was taken Christmas Eve. The children are pictured with their youngest cousin, Victoria.

Here's my dad with 4 of his 7 grandchildren.

Corinna with some I-Carly gifts.

Drake agreed to Princess Olivia's invitation to dance while Uncle Jake tries to put the Transformer together.

Olivia models another princess outfit. Man, I should've posted the picture with her in the heels.

I got a flat screen! I joked that I thought the big box under the tree for me was a spanking machine. Maybe I'll get one of those next year.

The children read a clue in their quest to find out where "wii" are going for an overnight family field trip. Our destination is Wolf Creek Lodge in Concord. "Wii" will depart tomorrow afternoon and return Monday night.

I'll leave you with a shot of my hubby playing a Wii skiing game. "Wii" were very blessed to have had a wonderful Christmas and "wii" hope that you did as well.
