Corinna's team played in Myrtle Beach the last weekend of April. We had a good time and the girls played well against tough competition.
Our team dinner and end of season celebration at Nance's was fantastic.
Corinna's team had a good season and our beach trip ended things on a positive note for sure!
The following weekend, Drake's team played in Boone. A few of his teammates camped with us. We were grateful that the weather was lovely this year.
The boys played great and ended up being runners up in their division.
We also were glad to spend the weekend with the families of Drake's teammates. Everybody liked our team dinner at the Dan'l Boone Inn! It was also nice to return to Honeybear Campground.
Soccer and camping make a great combination!
Soccer tryouts were held this week. Both Drake and Corinna made Classic teams in their age groups. JJ was assigned to coach the boys this year after 2 years coaching girls. We are anticipating that the upcoming soccer season will be successful for both teams.
