Destination Disney: Epcot

On our Disney trip we spent two days at Epcot. Have you ever wondered what Epcot stands for? Epcot is the acronym for Experimental Prototype Communities of Tomorrow. We learned a lot about energy, inventions, space, the sea, preserving the environment, being imaginative, and what could happen in the future, among other things.

You may be driving one of these one day!

The girls had lunch with some Disney princesses. The photos of Corinna with various princesses from an earlier post were taken here.

We liked the Mission Space Team Orange attraction, Soarin' and Test Track. Many of the rides and attractions are indoors so I couldn't get good pictures.

We enjoyed Turtle Talk with Crush, an interactive and innovative method of communication from "under the sea." Another show we liked was the classic, intergalactic Captain EO show, a 3D experience starring Michael Jackson!

I couldn't resist snapping this photo...they had their arms wrapped around each other before I got my camera out!

It was interesting touring the pavilions of various countries. Disney's done a great job of representing the architecture, ethnic cuisine, cultures, and lifestyles of different nations. Of course, this is coming from someone who has never traveled abroad. Perhaps one day!

We had a great time exploring Epcot!
