In late August, Hayden and Corinna auditioned for Lexington Youth Theatre's production of "Cinderella." For just over 2 months, they have practiced for the play which will be performed this weekend.
The majority of the practices were in Gee Auditorium at Davidson County Community College.
Each fall show is open to children in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The cast for this play is around 70 students.
Last week we rehearsed in Rich Fork Baptist Church's gym because we needed more space for the scenes. Cinderella and the prince are in the center of the court.
Hayden will be a villager.
Corinna is a fairy. The Fairy Godmother needs helpers you know.

This week we moved rehearsals to the Civic Center, where the play will be watched by hundreds.
