Back-to-School Beach Blast

We spent last Friday through Monday morning at the beach with Bill....Hurricane Bill that is. He visited the Atlantic which made the water rough and the rip tide strong. That did not put a damper on our stay, however.

We still got our feet wet.

We were excited to get some fish prepared by the Elk's Lodge.

Yummy! Two plates were more than 5 of us could eat.

for some karoke.

We discovered this on a night walk.

The children were thrilled that their "cousins" came to Oak Island for the weekend too. Blake pulls the boys on their boogie boards since they couldn't ride the big waves.

Ma Ma smiles with all of her grandchildren. We had a great time and made it back to Lexington late Monday afternoon, in time to meet the teachers.
