J.J.'s mom was kind enough to invite the kids to spend the night Friday and Saturday evenings. 
Friday night they went to a Family Night at her church.
They played games,
met new friends, and watched a movie. She said they didn't get home until after 10:00.
Saturday, they went to one of High Point's public pools. See the water slide?
Corinna was thrilled to be tall enough to slide down this summer. Last summer she didn't quite make the mark.

"Cool D" (note the had turned sideways) and Ma Ma. The children returned home this afternoon and we were soon off to the lake to hang out with our TLC (small group from church) friends. A couple from church, the Wien's, graciously invited our families to their home on High Rock.

It was a nice, hot day for a swim.

There were many games to play: pinball,
bumper pool (Abigail and Corinna knew exactly how to play),
pool,
and raquetball.
Had a little time to shoot the breeze.
But got back on the lake for some more fun.
